Wasps welcome back England stars

Phil Vickery, one of six England internationals in the London Wasps team, captains his club in a must-win Heineken Cup clash against Edinburgh tonight.

The prop leads the team at Murrayfield because Raphael Ibanez is still recovering from the head injury he suffered against Sale Sharks a a fortnight ago.

Fellow England returnees Paul Sackey, Riki Flutey, Danny Cipriani, Tom Rees and James Haskell will also play for Wasps, who welcome back highly rated centre Dominic Waldouck, following his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury.

It means Josh Lewsey reverts to the wing with Mark Van Gisbergen coming at full-back.

Wasps need to win back-to-back Cup games with Edinburgh to have any chance of making the knock out stages of the Cup and Ian McGeechan, the Wasps director of rugby said: "It's good to have our internationals playing back at the club, despite a short turn around for some of our players.

It is a big challenge going to Edinburgh, they are a side who are playing well and who are well coached by Andy Robinson and it will be a big game for both sides."
