Look who was back with England at Lord's ahead of today's first npower Test against South Africa.

OK, Andrew Flintoff was only joining the team for their indoor net session ahead of continuing his comeback after injury in Lancashire's championship match against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl tomorrow.

But he bowled with enough pace to prove he is on course for a recall for the second Test at Headingley next week.

'I didn't face him!' said a shrewd England captain Michael Vaughan, who went on to describe this fourmatch series as 'almost as important as the Ashes'.
