We are a perfect fit, insists Chelsea striker Didier Drogba

Didier Drogba has claimed Chelsea's superior fitness will be their trump card against Manchester United.

The striker, who criticised Avram Grant for failing to pair Nicolas Anelka alongside him, believes Chelsea are physically stronger than the Barclays Premier League champions.

He said: "The result will be down to small details, such as free kicks and physical fitness. Chelsea have an advantage with the latter as the squad has been regularly rotated. That is a trump card when it comes to playing a Champions League Final.

Practice makes perfect: Drogba trains in Moscow

"If we lose it will be a black mark on my career as it will be the first season I've not won a trophy with Chelsea. But this game does not frighten me. I am used to the big matches."

Drogba, critical of Grant's lone striker system, added: "I feel a bit disappointed that I have not been able to play more alongside Nicolas Anelka. Every time we have been together we've done a lot of damage. I see the fear in defenders' eyes."

Drogba is still considering his Chelsea future but said that he may stay at the club.

He said: "I am no longer as determined to leave as I was a few months ago."
