We can conquer Europe now we've won in Rome, says United goal hero Ronaldo

Ronaldo, playing as a centre forward, headed United into a first-half lead at the Olympic Stadium before strike partner Wayne Rooney doubled the advantage 24 minutes from the end.
Sir Alex Ferguson's team are now in pole position to complete the job when Roma come to Old Trafford a week tonight and would appear on course for a titanic semi-final with Barcelona, who beat Schalke 1-0 in Germany.

Head boy: Ronaldo nods home the opener
Ronaldo said: "We have a great chance to win the competition now. This team are playing fantastic football and we have matured.
"I think it was a great header tonight and I feel very happy to have scored another goal, but the most important thing is that the team won the game. It was a good performance."
The victory was perhaps United's best away win in Europe since the 2002 quarter-final at Deportivo La Coruna.

But there was one worrying incident when central defender Nemanja Vidic left the stadium on crutches after being carried off with a knee injury in the first half.
The Serbia international has been a vital part of United's success this season and Ferguson will await news of a scan this morning.
The United manager said: "We hope it is not serious and that it is just a nerve injury, but we can't be sure. He will have a scan and I pray he will be OK as he is a vital part of our team."
Ferguson took something of a gamble by playing Ronaldo as a traditional centre forward, but it paid off handsomely.
"I think he can play anywhere in the front part of the field," said Ferguson.
Happily for United's 3,200 travelling fans there were no signs of the trouble that marred the club's visit to Rome at this stage of the competition last year.
Ferguson said: "That's what I wanted to hear. It's a real bonus."
