We fear nobody, warns Celtic star Hartley

Celtic midfielder Paul Hartley heads into tomorrow's Champions League opener against Shakhtar Donetsk with the fearlessness gained from his role as one of Scotland's Paris heroes.

The former Hearts man shone for his country against France at the Parc des Princes last Wednesday and is eager to make it another memorable night in Ukraine.

Inspired by Scotland: Paul Hartley

Hartley said: "When you go away from home you sometimes have to change your style but I have a lot of confidence from the way Scotland played in midweek.

"But Shakhtar are top of their league and have spent close to £30million on players so it will be a difficult game."

The 30-year-old admitted a "more cautious" approach might be necessary if Celtic are to come through their Group D test with a positive result.

He added: "But we are going well at the moment, we are scoring goals without conceding many so the confidence is really high."
