Second to Arsenal in the Premier League, United have also cruised through into the last 16 of the Champions League.

Tomorrow they begin their FA Cup bid with a trip to Aston Villa and Ferguson said: "We've lost a couple of games but our consistency has been very good. I'm looking for success in Europe as well as at home. We have the players and back-up to do it."

Carlos Tevez (ankle) is likely to be missing but Wayne Rooney has recovered from a virus.
