Wenger: Big games key to title

Arsene Wenger claimed nothing will get in the way of Arsenal winning the Premier League title if they can overcome their biggest test of the season so far at Liverpool.

Arsenal are unbeaten in all competitions, but tomorrow's clash at Anfield is the first time they have come up against a team who finished in the top four last term.

Walcott: may continue

Wenger's side brushed Slavia Prague aside 7-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday, but a fourth Premier League title remains Arsenal's priority.

The Arsenal boss said: "I feel that this year, if we repeat our same record against the big teams, we will be difficult to catch in the Premier League. That's the challenge we face from now on.

"We're in good condition to go to Liverpool and show how well we can do. It's easy to keep the hunger going because, at the moment, we've won nothing.

"We have to be faithful to the way we want to play the game on Sunday and dictate it. This game is the big question mark, but I'm very confident.

"The problem is going into the game and making sure we play at the highest level. At your strongest opponents, you want to make sure that you're at your best. The rest doesn't concern me because I know we have the ability to do it."

Wenger's side have not been beaten since West Ham inflicted a 1-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium in April and they travel to Anfield on the back of 15 games without a loss.

After scoring twice during the destruction of Slavia Prague in midweek, Wenger will consider keeping Theo Walcott up front alongside Emmanuel Adebayor. The alternative is to promote Alexander Hleb to play just off Adebayor, but Wenger is keeping his options open.

He added: "There is a maturity about the team and defensively we are more efficient. We were 1-0 down 22 times out of 38 games last season, but I feel we have learned how to deal with it.

"What I like is that we have found solutions to different problems we have encountered. Beating Slavia was perfect in terms of the scoreline, but we lost some balls and missed some passes."
