Wenger: I could throw youngster Wilshere straight into Premier League

Arsene Wenger insists he could throw starlet Jack Wilshere into the Premier League pressure cooker.

The Arsenal boss demonstrated the faith he has in the 16-year-old by playing him in the friendly defeat against Juventus.

He said: 'The quality is there. I don’t look at his age, just what he is doing on the pitch.'
