Wenger worry as injury rules Toure out of Mali clash

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has injury concerns over Kolo Toure after the defender was ruled out of Ivory Coast's final group match in the African Nations Cup.

The Gunners skipper limped out of his side's 4-1 win over Benin on Friday and officials have confirmed that he will not be able to face Mali on Tuesday due to a groin injury.

Injury woe: Kolo Toure

Reports in Africa have suggested Toure has suffered a muscle tear, although it is not yet known how severe the problem is.

However, as Ivory Coast have already sealed top spot in their pool, Toure will not be required again until their quarter-final clash on February 3.
