We're not going to throw away our European chance, says City's Dunne

Richard Dunne says Manchester City are not going to waste the chance to make an impact in Europe this season.
Tonight, City play EB/Streymur in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round.

Ahead of the first leg in the Faroe Islands, skipper Defender Dunne said: 'I have never been to the Faroes before and all of us are looking forward to the game and this competition.
'A European run is something we have been looking for at this club over the last few years. Now we are here we do not intend to waste the opportunity we have been given
by qualifying via the Fair Play League.
'Now we have got a chance to progress and push on as a club, but we have to be
very professional about this and make sure we do not slip up here.
'It will be a tough game because it is such a big occasion for them. They will have everything to play for and we have to be careful.
'But we are here to win and we want to get through these early rounds. We will
be very disappointed if we do not win here.'
Ready to go: Mark Hughes, the manager of Manchester City, and Richard Dunne (right) face the media
Mark Hughes lost out to AC Milan in the battle to sign Ronaldinho from Barcelona.
But City's manager said: 'This has not set us back very much. There are other players we will try to bring into the club.'
City's £19million record signing Jo will lead the attack here for his debut, and Hughes said: 'The quality of the squad is good. It is only when you work on a day to day basis that you understand the quality you have at your disposal, and I have been really pleased with that.
'There is good quality at the club. But we are really trying to make sure the balance is right and the make-up of the squad is correct. If we do that then I expect us to have a decent season.
'Last season the club played some great stuff but in the end could not sustain it over the full term of the season from start to finish. That is something we will address.'
