England’s World Cup-winning captain made his West Ham debut almost 50 years ago, and two shirts bearing that number will be handed over to Moore’s widow Stephanie during next Saturday’s friendly against Villarreal at Upton Park.
The shirts will be auctioned, with the proceeds going to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. Moore died of bowel cancer aged 51.
