Formula One greats with a sensational victory in yesterday's Monaco Grand Prix.

THE SUN: Lewis Hamilton was lifted to the heavens after winning the Monaco
Grand Prix and insisted: "This will be the highlight of my life." Also...Jose
Mourinho is ready to make an amazing return to Chelsea, but only on his terms.

DAILY MIRROR: Phil Brown wants to make former Bolton midfielder Ivan Campo the
highest-paid player in Hull's 104-year history as he bids to turn them into a
Premier League outfit. Also...Avram Grant turned his back on Roman Abramovich
because pride means more to the Israeli than cash.

DAILY EXPRESS: Chelsea are in disarray as the true price of sacking Avram Grant

winning on the rain-swept streets of Monaco to regain the lead in the
championship.

THE GUARDIAN: The English domestic cricket season could be radically
restructured to feature a three-conference county championship, a 21-team
Twenty20 league and a revamped Pro40 competition under proposals to be
considered by the ECB board this week. Also...Jose Mourinho last night ruled
himself out of the running to return as Chelsea manager following the weekend
sacking of his successor, Avram Grant.

THE TIMES: Lewis Hamilton switched off the radio of his speed machine to allow
himself two minutes of privacy to scream and shout his celebration after winning
the Monaco Grand Prix yesterday and grabbing the lead in the Formula One World
Championship. Also...Another dramatic and utterly absorbing day's cricket came
to a close with England 76 for one in their second innings, still 218 adrift of
what would be an improbable victory.

DAILY TELEGRAPH: Mark Hughes has emerged as a leading candidate to replace
Avram Grant as Chelsea manager having won the backing of chief executive Peter
Kenyon. Also...A week on from the misery of Moscow, John Terry looks like
getting a very public reprieve with Fabio Capello ready to restore the Chelsea
centre-half to the England captaincy for Wednesday night's friendly against the
United States at Wembley.

THE INDEPENDENT: Chelsea want a tough disciplinarian manager to succeed Avram
Grant, but also, crucially, someone who is willing to discuss team tactics and
selection with club owner Roman Abramovich. Also...Real Madrid have defended
themselves against accusations from the Manchester United manager, Sir Alex
Ferguson, that they were using underhand tactics to pressure the Portuguese
forward Cristiano Ronaldo into joining them.
