THE SUN: Manchester United have agreed a £32million British record fee to buy
Carlos Tevez. Also: England keeper Paul Robinson last night ended his Tottenham
nightmare by joining Blackburn for £3.5million. Michael Ballack insists Alex
Ferguson is talking ballacks by claiming Chelsea are too old.

DAILY MIRROR: Manchester United last night agreed a staggering £32million deal

Also: Fabio Capello revealed yesterday that he is "worse off" than all his
rival international bosses because the Premier League doesn't have enough

roared: We are the best team in the world. Also: Robbie Keane will join
Liverpool early next week in a five-year deal that will earn him over £20m.
Everton boss David Moyes will use the Andy Johnson transfer cash to meet

nation by agreeing a British record £32million fee for striker Carlos Tevez.
Also: Forget what used to be the ultimate prize for a county cricketer, the
Championship. Forget, also, the old showpiece end of season 50-over final.

THE TIMES: Manchester United are expected to open formal talks with
representatives of Carlos Tevez this week as they seek to tie up a permanent
deal for the Argentina forward.

DAILY TELEGRAPH: The Champions Trophy could be postponed next month as leading international players, including England's Kevin Pietersen, refuse to travel to
Pakistan because of fears over safety and security.

THE GUARDIAN: The Rose Bowl stages the sixth Twenty20 Cup finals today,
bringing the cricketing phenomenon full circle.

THE INDEPENDENT: Manchester United will seal the permanent £35m signing of
Carlos Tevez before the start of the new season, smashing the British transfer
record. Also: The Brazil international Robinho is "desperate" to leave Real
Madrid to join Chelsea and is considering making an extraordinary public
statement denouncing the behaviour of the Spanish champions if they block the
expected move.
