Wigan forced to switch home play-off against Bradford to Widnes

Wigan Warriors 'home' engage Super League play-off against Bradford Bulls on Friday has been switched to the Halton Stobart Stadium in Widnes because of the unavailability of the JJB Stadium.
As a gesture for inconveniencing their supporters, Wigan are offering free bus travel to Widnes for supporters who buy tickets for Friday's game from the JJB Stadium which is unavailable because Wigan Athletic have a home Premier League match against Sunderland on Saturday.
Missing out: Wigan's Joel Tomkins tackles St Helens' Maurie Fa'asavalu on Friday as the Warriors secured a home play-off, but it won't be at the JJB Stadium.
Wigan explored the possibility of switching the tie to Thursday or Sunday but were told the game must be played on Friday due to Sky TV commitments and the Rugby Football League ruled out the possibility of moving it to Bradford because it would compromise the integrity of the competition.

England coach Tony Smith has included Harlequins centre Tony Clubb and Huddersfield prop Darrell Griffin in his initial train-on squad to prepare for the World Cup in Australia next month.
The final 24 to make the trip will be named on October 7, just ahead of the warm-up international against Wales at Doncaster three days later.
