Wigan's De Ridder denies Bruce has 'raped and pillaged' former club

Daniel De Ridder has hit back at Birmingham claims that Steve Bruce has tried to 'rape and pillage' his old club since moving to .


As well as several backroom staff, Bruce has also signed Wilson Palacios and Olivier Kapo from St Andrew's, but free transfer De Ridder said: 'Under the new manager (Alex McLeish), I wasn't playing and in some games I was not even on the bench so there was absolutely no future for me.'
