Will Clarke's got the power to win triathlon in 2012

The Briton comes to the sixth round of the Dextro Energy World Championship series in Hyde Park tomorrow boosted by victory in the Mazda London Triathlon just a fortnight ago.
The former world and European Under-23 champion maintains that result proves he is making ground on Beijing Olympic team-mate Alistair Brownlee, who is second in the Dextro series behind Germany's Maik Petzold.
Clarke, 14th in the table, said: "Alistair is looking pretty incredible at the moment, his is the standard we're all trying to attain.
"I'm trying to use Alistair to bring myself up a level. The fact we have this rivalry within the UK means I'm being pushed in every race and that's just what I need if I'm to achieve my career goal of the gold medal in 2012."
Tomorrow's race, which also includes world champion Javier Gomez, is being staged over most of the swimming, cycling and running course that will be used for the London Olympics. That's an extra incentive for Clarke.
The 24-year-old, who is an ambassador for sports nutrition company Multipower, said: "If I can get a good connection with the course then I'll be a lot more positive going into the Games. And the win in the London Triathlon told me I have the ability to take on the best."
Britain's world women's champion Helen Jenkins also competes tomorrow.
