Wilson set for Nou Camp bow for Celtic

Gordon Strachan is ready to plunge Mark Wilson in at right-back for his first start since last September following knee surgery.

Wilson replaced teenager Paul Caddis in the first leg and could start, given that Andreas Hinkel is ineligible.

"Mark could well be involved," said the Celtic boss. "We did not intend using him in the first game but we asked him how he felt and he ended up coming on for Paul. Scott Brown is fine, despite taking a knock against Hibs."

Barca shipped four goals in defeat to Atletico Madrid on Saturday evening, but have only lost two in one game once this season at their intimidating home citadel.

However, Strachan refused to be comforted by that result and said: "There's nothing original you can do, in terms of tactical selections. I have looked at systems for years.

"Atletico Madrid enjoyed a wee break against Barca on Saturday night, when their good players took advantage of that. 'Whatever happens here, we want to leave an impact on the Barca players and the Barca fans."

Meanwhile, Celtic chairman John Reid handed over £10,000 to UNICEF yesterday - the charity whose name adorns the Barcelona strip.

Hoops fans raised the cash, with Barca president Joan Laporta accepting the cheque from from Dr Reid.
