WIMBLEDON DAY FOUR - All the action live from SW19
26 June 2008
2015: Andy Roddick may have talking a good game after his first round win, but he's heading for the exit door. Tipsarevic wins 6-7, 7-5, 6-4, 7-6. Breathless day.
2010: Tursunov completes what in the end was frankly a comfortable win. 7-6 (7-2), 6-2, 6-4 the score. The gulf in class was obvious, but the young man from Surrey should be proud of his efforts.
1950: Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic could be about to make a name for himself on this fourth evening, He is 2-1 up in sets against former finalist Andy Roddick, and it's currently five games each in the fourth set.
Chris Eaton was beaten in straight sets by Dmitry Tursunov
1940: Tursunov has taken complete control of the match now, winning the second set 6-2.
1901: Tursunov draws on his years of experience to win a first set tie-break 7-2.
1830: What a day this has been - those folk with a ticket for the show courts today can count themselves very lucky. Mr Eaton is now in action against Dmitry Tursunov - it's three games each in the early stages. Much of the talk at Wimbledon is about the surprise exit of Maria Sharapova - you can read a report here.
1755: Maria is out - beaten 6-2 6-4. Kudryavtseva was simply inspired - it must have been the performance of her life.
Painful blow: Maria Sharapova bows out of Wimbledon 2008 to Alla Kudryavtseva
1730: Sharapova is in big trouble here. She is now 4-2 behind in the second set.
1710: Sharapova loses the first set 6-2. Stand by for a possible bona fide shock on this fourth day.
1645: Murray completes a 6-4 6-2 6-2 victory and marches into the third round.
1630: The delightful Maria Sharapova has made her entrance on Court One to take on Alla Kudryavtseva.
1615: Just what is going on? Normally Britain's big guns (well, Henman and Murray) take us on these long rollercoaster rides. At the moment Murray is coasting to victory. He has taken the second set 6-2. Poor Xavier Malisse doesn't look too happy out there.

Andy Murray cruised into the third round with victory against Xavier Malisse
1605: Nadal wraps up victory - and the tough battle he faced may stand him in good stead. He wins 5-7 6-2 7-6 (7-2) 6-3.
1555: Murray breaks the Malisse serve twice and takes a 4-0 lead in the second set.
1545: Murray is playing some superb stuff on Centre Court and wraps up the first set 6-4.
1538: Murray has broken serve early in the match and leads 5-3. Nadal meanwhile has taken the third set on a tie-break.
1515: British No 1 Andy Murray begins his match against Xavier Malisse.
1510: Williams makes much lighter work of the second set and beats Keothavong 7-5, 6-2.
1438: Nadal strikes back, taking the second set 6-2.
1430: Williams wins the first set 7-5 but it has been a real battle for the defending champion.
1410: Decent match in progression on Court Two (or the graveyard court as it has become almost the law to call it). Mikhail Youzhny is level at one set each with Stefano Galvani.
1407: This will make you sit up and take notice - Rafael Nadal, twice beaten finalist here and yet again the king on French clay, has lost the first set 7-5 against Ernests Gulbis.
1355: Kiefer completes the most routine of victories, winning 6-0 6-3 6-1.
Venus Williams was given plenty to think about in her match against Britain's Anne Keothavong.
1340: Credit to Keothavong - she has broken back and is really testing Williams early on here. Two games each.
1335: Our roving reporter Richard Copeman is out and about in SW19. You can read his latest blog here.
1315: Williams breaks serve early to lead 2-0 on Centre Court. You can follow the match live here.
1250: Do you hold out any genuine hopes of Keothavong or Eaton winning today? Email us at sport@dailymailonline.co.uk.
1247: Nicolas Kiefer has taken the opening set 6-0 against Martin Vassallo Arguell.
1220: It's a big day for the Brits at Wimbledon. Andy Murray and Chris Eaton are in action but first up is Anne Keothavong against Venus Williams.
