Bryan twins too strong for British pair

The British duo is known as Flemski and had harboured hopes of an upset after defeating the Americans at Queen's last year.
They were also looking to follow in the footsteps of Chris Eaton and Dominic Inglot's shock five-sets win over previously unbeaten defending champions Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic.
Canadian/Serbian pairing Nestor and Zimonjic had never lost a match together at SW19 but Eaton and Inglot's big serving proved to be too much for the No.1 seeds who were beaten 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 6-7 (3-7), 8-6 in front of a packed Court 6 over the weekend.
But the Bryan brothers proved too hot to handle on Court 14 this morning. Last month the pair captured a record-equalling 61st doubles title at the Madrid Open and will fancy their chances of making history at Wimbledon. If they win the final it would beat the record set by Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.
The 32-year-old twins won here in 2006 and needed just 22 minutes to take the first set with some fierce returns which broke their opponent's serve.
They also specialise in slam-dunk' style smashes to win points which sent balls flying into different courts. They must be a ball boy's nightmare.
Although the Bryan brothers' serve came briefly under threat at the start of the second set they had the class to manoeuvre their way to safety and took 30 minutes to wrap up the set.
Bob Bryan's left-hand serve caused particular problems and with right-handed brother Mike they have most angles covered.
The British pair did take the third set to a tie-break but were never able to halt the Bryan brothers who celebrated their win with a trademark bump of chests.
With the number one seeds now out of the men's doubles the on form twins will fancy going all the way and making history this week.
