Manchester City were thumped 4-2 at Aston Villa last weekend - not the start new Eastlands boss Mark Hughes was hoping for.
The former Blackburn boss will be aiming to get his season back on track this Sunday against a confident West Ham team, bouyed by their 2-1 opening-day triumph over Wigan.
