Wise is trying to rebuild his squad after relegation to League One and added: "Players get jittery and want to sort themselves out straightaway. There were a lot of players we earmarked who unfortunately have gone - around ten of them."

Wise believes some of his targets are making unreasonable demands and insisted: "It's Leeds United and they think we'll pay loads of money but it's not going to happen."
