Zambrotta returns to Italy, leaving Barcelona for AC Milan

Barcelona have agreed a deal to sell full-back Gianluca Zambrotta to AC Milan.

The Spanish club confirmed on Friday that the Italy international will join the
Rossoneri in a deal worth nine million euros (£7.1million).

The 30-year-old, who is with the Italian squad at Euro 2008, returns to Serie A
after a two-year spell in the Primera Liga.

The former Juventus star will sign a four-year contract with the Milan club.
