Adams watched his side slump to a 3-1 defeat against a vibrant Fulham side but maintains he is focused on keeping the club in the top flight.
Asked if he had any concerns for his managerial future, Adams replied: "No, I don't think so. It is all good at the moment."
Portsmouth, without a win from their last eight league games, are now facing a real relegation battle. They were up against it after 14 minutes when Andrew Johnson put Fulham in front.
Two goals from substitute Erik Nevland (71 and 80) put Pompey to the sword before David Nugent scored a consolation effort six minutes from time.
"I do my job to the best of my ability. It has been a tough period. The last two months have been difficult both on and off the pitch," added Adams.
"I'll be delighted when the transfer window closes. Heads have been turned up and down the country. Once it is closed we can get on with business.
"We made mistakes. We gambled on offsides and it is disappointing because we worked hard in training on that.
"We were undone within 15 minutes of the game. If you continue to make mistakes you will lose points.
"We gambled on the offsides but you need your defence to play as a unit, your midfielders too. We missed Sol Campbell."
