Agbonlahor eases Villa nerves

England Under-21 star Gabriel Agbonlahor steered Aston Villa to a crucial 2-1 victory at Ewood Park.

He surely secured the club's safety by grabbing the winner against Blackburn with a cool finish in the 73rd minute after team-mate Gareth Barry earlier missed a penalty.

Villa fought back well after a Benni McCarthy penalty put the home side ahead with Patrick Berger getting the equaliser.
