Agent: Barrett could leave Wigan

Wayne Beavis claims the former Test player, who is less than halfway through a three-year deal at the JJB Stadium, plans to meet with Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan to discuss his future.
"It's for family reasons that Trent might be looking at coming home," Beavis told the Wigan Observer.
"I've spoken to the Wigan management and told them Trent has got a family issue and that he was planning to come to them to discuss it.
"All of this stuff is less than 24 hours old. It may lead to him asking for a release or they might convince him to stay.
"Purely on a commercial level, Trent should never leave there, but there are always other things players need to consider."
If the former St George Illawarra captain does leave, three NRL clubs - the Dragons, Canberra and Canterbury Bulldogs - will chase his signature for 2009.
"I've had a couple of NRL clubs ring me to say they're interested if Trent does become available, but I'm not going to enter into any discussions with them unless he asks for a release and is granted one," added Beavis.
