Al-Muhammadi keen on Blackburn switch

Egypt midfielder Ahmed Al-Muhammadi is hopeful of sealing a move to Barclays Premier League club Blackburn in the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who plays for ENPPI in his domestic league, had a short trial at Ewood Park recently and is certain he made an impression on manager Paul Ince.

"I have spent a successful short spell at Blackburn," the winger told www.filgoal.com. "Therefore they are sending a representative to wrap up the deal."

Al-Muhammadi has been a regular member of the Pharaohs' national set-up since making his debut against Mauritania last year.
