Aluko happy to take point

Zander Diamond's opener was cancelled out in the last seconds of the first half by another header from a corner as Branislav Ivanovic levelled.
And on-loan Birmingham teenager Aluko was content to claim a draw against the Russian cup holders after a game played for spells in blizzard conditions, he said: "The weather didn't help our performance, but we were pleased with the result, we will take that. No team was ever going to play to their best in those conditions."
He added: "They were tough to break down, they had two banks of four and we knew they would be good because they drew with Atletico (Madrid).
"The whole team started quite well but we kind of faded in the second half, the goal killed us."
Aluko joined the Dons on loan in August and is beginning to make a name for himself after injury delayed his impact.
And the 18-year-old, who netted his first goal in Saturday's win over Dundee United, admits he would extend his stay in Scotland beyond January if Blues allow him.
"It was one of the reasons I came to Aberdeen, to get the chance to play in the UEFA Cup so I'm happy I got the first game under my belt," he added.
"It's a good standard in Scotland, I knew it would be a tough standard and the games are quick and competitive. Every game has been hard, I've been learning and improving every game.
"If Birmingham allow me to stay, I will be happy to stay here. I haven't really talked to them about extending it."
