Ana taking it game by game

Ana Ivanovic is refusing to contemplate winning her first career grand slam despite the manner of her victory over Petra Cetkovska at the French Open on Sunday.

The Serbian, last year's runner-up at Roland Garros, needed only 54 minutes to dispatch the world number 77 with a 6-0 6-0 whitewash.

"[Winning the title] is one thing I don't want to think about," she said. "Obviously I feel great, and I feel very confident going into the next round."

She added: "But I don't want to think too much. I just want to take it match by match. I have fun out there and that's all I can ask for."

Ivanovic's opponent in the next round will be 10th-seeded Swiss Patty Schnyder, who posted a 6-2 6-4 victory over Slovenia's Katarina Srebotnik, the 27th seed.

Srebotnik failed to reproduce the kind of performance that stunned Serena Williams in the last round and was swept aside with consummate ease by Schnyder, who is into the last eight at Roland Garros for the first time since 1998.

Third seed Jelena Jankovic is also into the last eight but admitted making heavy weather of her 6-3 7-6 (7/3) win over Agnieszka Radwanska.

"I made it a lot harder work than it should be," said Jankovic.

Jankovic's next match will be against tournament debutant Carla Suarez Navarro, who cruised to victory over Venus Williams' conqueror Flavia Pennetta.

Pennetta, the 26th seed, all but gifted the win to 19-year-old Suarez Navarro by committing 37 unforced errors as the Spaniard compiled a comfortable 6-3 6-2 victory.
