Another fortnight out for Cech

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech will be out for two weeks following a training-ground accident manager Avram Grant has confirmed.

Cech required facial surgery on Sunday following a collision with a team-mate.

Grant confirmed: "He will be out for about two weeks. He has been unlucky with injuries this year. But this is football, these things happen."

The Czech Republic international was on the brink of returning to action in Chelsea's Champions League clash with Fenerbahce at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night after recovering from an ankle problem.

Cech has been out since the beginning of last month with an ankle injury suffered in training.
