Another record for Woods

Tiger Woods has become the first player in PGA Tour history to win the same event three consecutive times on two separate occasions.

Woods came from a shot behind in the final round, carding a bogey-free 65 to win the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club.

He finished at eight under - eight strokes ahead of overnight leader Rory Sabbatini (74) and England's Justin Rose (68).

He has now won 14 times in 26 starts in World Golf Championship events.

Woods wasted little time taking the lead with four birdies in the first six holes, and the back nine was little more than an exhibition as everyone else played for second.
