AZ move for Nielsen

AZ Alkmaar have completed the signing of Danish youngster Morten Nielsen from Chelsea.

The 19-year-old has spent the last two weeks on trial with the Eredivisie champions, and has now signed a two-year deal.

"During the trial he made a good impression," AZ technical director Marcel Brands told the club's official website. "AZ gives him the chance to develop himself further in Alkmaar."

Nielsen came through the Chelsea academy but failed to break into the first team, and the London club agreed to release him earlier this month.
