Ban drug cheats for life - Pickering

Craig Pickering does not believe Dwain Chambers should have been allowed back from his drugs ban to threaten his place at next month's World Indoor Championships in Valencia.

The European silver medallist has been left to battle Simeon Williamson for one 60metres berth in the Great Britain team after Chambers stormed to victory in last weekend's trials.

"I do not welcome Chambers back but it is out of my control," Pickering told The Sun. "Is two years long enough? It should be a life ban. Why should you be allowed back once you've cheated."

Chambers served a two-year ban for taking the performance-enhancing drug THG.
