Beckham ready for England call

The former England captain has endured a turbulent return to Los Angeles Galaxy in the last week, being subjected to abuse from a section of the crowd angered by his desire to return to AC Milan following a loan spell in Italy.
But the 34-year-old, who has always maintained his desire to keep playing for England, insists he will report for duty if Fabio Capello selects him for the Amsterdam friendly. "Everyone knows that I've always been available for my country whether it be a friendly or a qualifying game so I'm always available," he said.
"I've spoken to (Galaxy coach) Bruce (Arena) and he's more than happy that if I get called up for my country he and the club totally support that, so it's not a problem."
Beckham also insisted he is committed to playing for the Galaxy and denied rumours that he has put his Beverly Hills home on the market.
Speaking after a training session, he said he was enjoying being back at the club after a five-month loan to AC Milan.
He said: "I know the majority of these guys and there are some new faces but it is good to be back."
Of his reception from some fans at the weekend he said: "It is not about whether I can move on, I wasn't the one booing, at the end of the day I play my game, whether I get booed or not doesn't matter to me."
But he admitted: "I don't like my sons seeing that and hearing that, and my family, from an organised group of fans. I think it was disrespectful, some of the things that were being said and also some of the banners, but it is what it is.
"To be honest all I'm going to do is play my football, if it's not good enough for some people, as long as it's good enough for myself and the team nothing else matters."
