Berbatov gripped by Spurs drama

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov admits he is still enthralled by events at White Hart Lane.

The Bulgaria striker sealed a move from Tottenham to Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, but revealed his delight at seeing Spurs' fortunes improve under Harry Redknapp.

"I will always have special feelings for Tottenham," he told The Sun. "I was just surprised the team got off to such a bad start because Juande Ramos was a very good coach."

He added: "They showed me the way in English football. I will never have anything bad to say about the club. I watch every game they play.

"Now Harry Redknapp has come in, a very experienced manager, and I am pleased they are going up the table."
