Bianchi nears Lazio move

The Italian striker, who joined City from Reggina for £8.8million at the start of the season, has been strongly linked with a return to Serie A in the winter transfer window.
Struggling outfit Torino had hoped to sign the 24-year-old but it appears Lazio have beaten them to it and Lazio spokesman Giacome Mazzocchi said: "There are still all the practicalities left to sort out, such as the medical and signing the contract."
"But the deal should be completed on Wednesday or Thursday," he added.
Lazio are 14th in Italy's top flight, two points clear of the drop zone.
Should Bianchi complete his transfer he could make his debut this weekend when Lazio travel to Turin to meet Torino.
