Blues eye foreign coach

Chelsea's released a statement on their website revealing Grant's plan following the impressive 2-1 Champions League victory over Valencia courtesy of goals from Joe Cole and Didier Drogba.
A Chelsea spokesperson confirmed: "Chelsea first team coach Avram Grant has made it publicly clear several times that he intends to strengthen his backroom team in addition to his assistant coach Steve Clarke."
He added: "One of the scenarios Avram is considering is a team containing a British assistant coach in Steve and a foreign assistant coach, a system the first team are already familiar with."
Dutchman Henk ten Cate appears to be the favourite for the foreign assistant coach role and reports in Holland have suggested that the current Ajax coach has held talks with Chelsea's Frank Arnesen about the post.
Ajax have yet to comment but Ten Cate, who has not denied Chelsea's approach, is understood to be excited by the idea of joining the Barclays Premier League club.
Ten Cate previously worked alongside Frank Rijkaard at Barcelona where he helped the Spanish club to win the European Cup in 2006.
He joined Ajax at the start of last season but indicated then that he did not intend to stay beyond the end of this season.
But his spell with the Dutch outfit may now end even sooner because Grant intends using the international break to recruit his coaching staff.
