Bolton too good to turn down - Megson

He is now intent in winning over a sceptical public, starting with the home game against Aston Villa.
After walking out on Leicester only six weeks into the role to join Bolton, he said: "This was purely and simply an opportunity that came up that I wanted to take. It was a chance to work in the Premier League, that's all."
He added: "Bolton is a top club with a terrific stadium, a great training ground and a very talented squad.
"Joining them is no reflection on Leicester or the supporters there. I wish them every success.
"But Bolton is where I want to work. It is a massive opportunity for me."
Megson took in Bolton's 1-1 draw against Braga in the UEFA Cup on Thursday at the Reebok Stadium, as did Villa boss Martin O'Neill.
Just under 11,000 fans attended and some of them voiced their disappointment at the appointment of the former West Brom boss.
Megson is now concerned a similar kind of atmosphere tomorrow could aid his managerial counterpart.
He said: "Martin was at the game and he would think we are not that confident and some supporters are a bit negative. If we can eliminate that scenario at a stroke we have a chance of progressing."
