Bradford bouce back for victory

Bradford came from behind to stun Hull 24-8 as the Bulls moved into second place in the engage Super League.

The Black & Whites went ahead courtesy of a Shaun Berrigan try and Danny Tickle goal, but the visitors hit back with a try from Chris Nero just before the break to level it up at 6-6.

Two tries in four minutes from Matt Cook and Semi Tadulala put the Bulls in control before Sam Burgess sealed it, as Paul Deacon kicked eight points.

The result left home coach Peter Sharp under intense pressure and facing up to the possibility of becoming the first managerial casualty of the season.

Hull remain in the bottom two and Sharp, who had previously offered a number of injuries to key players as a reason for his side's poor form, must now be looking increasingly over his shoulder with the majority of his stellar names back on the field.

Jamal Fakir scored his first try for almost two years to help Catalans Dragons extend their best-ever run in Super League and climb into the top six with a 20-16 win at Huddersfield.

The Dragons came from 12-4 down and held off a late fightback from Huddersfield to claim their third away win of the season and extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

The game finished on a controversial note when Giants scrum-half Luke Robinson appeared to have the ball stolen in a two-man tackle after being pulled down short of the line but referee Richard Silverwood awarded a scrum to the visitors.
