Both big punchers insist a knockout victory is guaranteed in a sell-out unification contest of which former champion Johnny Nelson insists: "The chance of this one being a stinker is absolutely zero."
Haye clambered off the canvas to stop Jean-Marc Mormeck and win the WBC and WBA versions of the 14st 4lbs title in November, while Maccarinelli brings an equally explosive reputation to the table.
Haye says he never stopped training since beating Mormeck and insists he will come out fitter than ever for what is likely to be his final fight in the division before moving up to heavyweight.
Haye said: "I knocked Mormeck out and a couple of days later I went straight back into training camp. I have got rid of every last bit of fat around my organs. I am pure, lean muscle and I am ready for war.
"I have eaten only organic food for nine months and it will show on Saturday night. For the Mormeck fight I was about 70% and for this fight I am going to be 100%, and you will see it from the first punch I throw."
Haye defied questions over his ability to make the weight by tipping the scales two pounds under the cruiserweight limit at 14st 2lbs, while Maccarinelli weighed in at one pound lighter.
Swansea man Maccarinelli is convinced he has got Haye's number. Haye was decked and stopped in his only career defeat to Carl Thompson, and was also in dire straits against Mormeck before getting up to win.
Maccarinelli has the right hand to exploit any weakness and insists he will defy those in the trade who believe his best chance of winning is to stay away, weather the early storm and bank on his stamina in the later rounds.
Maccarinelli said: "This is going to be a war from the first bell. It's going to go down in history. I couldn't care less what he's done, but I've done everything right and my mind and my body are strong."
