Broad smiles as he climbs rankings

England paceman Stuart Broad has leapt 22 places to a career-high 12th in the International Cricket Council's one-day rankings.

The 22-year-old Nottinghamshire seamer claimed seven wickets at an average of 21 in the recent series defeat to New Zealand and is England's top bowler in the rankings.

England's only batsman in the top 20 is Kevin Pietersen, who fell three places to 11th as after hitting an unbeaten 110 in the first match he scored just 23 in his further four innings.
