Bruce braced for tense finish

The Blues moved above Derby back into the top two - two points behind leaders Sunderland - with a 2-1 win at struggling Leicester on Tuesday night. First half goals from Radhi Jaidi and Sebastian Larsson put City in control.
But the hosts piled on the pressure after Shaun Newton had pulled one back with eight minutes remaining and Bruce said: "You are supposed to enjoy moments like this, going for promotion. But I thought Saturday's last five minutes (at Southampton) were bad enough, and this was just as bad."
Bruce had special praise for his goalkeeper, adding: "Colin Doyle made one fantastic save. He's come in on the quiet and done very well. He made some crucial saves here. He's a quiet lad but has a huge presence."
Nigel Worthington insisted his Leicester side will win their battle against relegation from the Championship if they maintain the form they showed in the second half against Birmingham.
Worthington said: "In the first half it was boys against men. We were pushed off the ball and conceded absolutely ridiculous goals. The players forgot all we had talked about and we were then playing catch up.
"But we had a little chat at half-time and sorted things out and marked a few cards and then in the second half we showed great energy and good quality and scored one goal and might have scored more.
"With that sort of performance we will ensure this club stays in the Championship."
