Bruce sweats on Heskey scan

The loss of Heskey after 55 minutes was the only blot on what was a superb defensive performance by the Latics against the Barclays Premier League leaders.
"He went for a challenge with William Gallas and he will go for a scan and we hope it is not too serious," said Bruce.
Heskey missed two months late last year with a broken metatarsal and the latest injury is to the same foot, although it is not believed to be a similar problem.
Bruce continued: "The physio does not seem to think it was the same injury as before as it is further around the foot but we will make sure."
Arsenal struggled to create anything of real threat to Wigan, their best opportunity coming after just 42 seconds when striker Emmanuel Adebayor forced Chris Kirkland into a low save on the edge of his penalty area after racing on to a through-ball.
But Arsene Wenger, whose side last week produced an historic 2-0 victory over AC Milan to move into the Champions League quarter-finals, denied the performance was a hangover from their Italian exertions.
"It is always an anti-climax to come from the San Siro to Wigan. To go from playing in the Champions League against one of the biggest clubs in the world to one fighting for Premier League survival is always going to be difficult," he said.
"We were focused, we prepared ourselves mentally to face a difficult pitch and we still had chances to win the game. Overall we did what we could and gave absolutely everything and we didn't give any chances away.
"Wigan deserve credit because they fought very hard but as long as we didn't score the first goal, they didn't come out."
