Burger plays down Saracens link

The Stormers flanker is a target of the English club, who are undergoing a rebuilding project with a decidedly South African flavour. However, Burger believes such a move would damage his chances of remaining a Springbok.
"I am with the Stormers until the end of the year. I want to play my rugby here. There are big Tests coming up against the British and Irish Lions as well as a Tri-Nations," he told Die Burger newspaper. "I would like to play in South Africa and for the Springboks for as long as possible. If I want to do that, I probably can't go overseas."
Saracens were thought to be lining up a loan move for Burger and his Stormers team-mate and captain Jean de Villiers.
Stormers defence consultant Brendan Venter is to become Saracens' director of rugby in July, and the north London club has gone after several South African players of late.
Loose forward Justin Melch has signed, while it is reported that hooker Schalk Brits will join him shortly.
Lions pair Ethienne Reynecke and Anton van Zyl are also thought to be on the Saracens radar.
