Burley buoyed by duo's return

Burley named the pair in a 26-man squad for next Wednesday's Hampden clash after both recovered from long-term injury. The Scotland manager has also recalled Cardiff striker Ross McCormack despite his recent hamstring injury.
"I don't think he is 100% fit yet," Burley said. "But there are another two games that Rangers have to play so we will be looking at that carefully. "He got 35 minutes against Kilmarnock on Sunday, so it's a case of looking at it and speaking to Barry. But it's great to include him in the squad."
Hutton last played for Scotland against Croatia in March but has made several appearances for Tottenham after missing the start of the season with a broken foot.
"I spoke to Harry Redknapp on Monday and he said Alan is fully fit," Burley added.
The Scotland manager also expects McCormack, who has scored 12 goals this season, to recover from the minor hamstring tear he suffered on November 1.
Burley said: "I was watching on TV when he went off with a hamstring injury and I feared the worst, but he is back in full training now.
"Ross is a young player in terrific form. Fingers crossed he will come through his next game with no injury."
Stephen McManus is the only other addition to the party that gathered for last month's 0-0 draw with Norway, which the Celtic defender missed through suspension.
That means no place for David Weir in this squad, but Burley confirmed the veteran would return for the World Cup double header against Holland and Iceland in the spring.
