Calzaghe and Hopkins trade insults

Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins were evenly matched when they weighed in for their big light-heavyweight showdown at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Both men tipped the scales at two pounds under the light-heavy limit at 173lbs before touching heads during the traditionally fiery pre-fight photocall.

Hopkins jabbed at Calzaghe's chest and vowed "I'm going to bust your heart", while Calzaghe hit back with insults of his own before being pulled away.

It was Calzaghe's first show of aggression in a laid-back fight week and promoter Frank Warren said: "That is exactly what I wanted to see. Joe has never been better prepared and I'm confident he will do the job in style."
