Cardiff agree Gunter fee with Spurs

The 18-year-old has already attracted the attentions of Wales boss John Toshack and became the youngest ever Bluebirds player to win a full international cap for Wales.
And, after receiving several bids from Tottenham, Cardiff revealed they had received an offer which had "reached their valuation" of the player.
Gunter made his debut for Cardiff at the age of 17 against Barnet in 2006 and has since gone on to become a regular in Dave Jones' side - making 13 appearances so far this term.
The Bluebirds board had previously turned down two offers from Everton in the summer but chairman Peter Ridsdale admitted the latest offer from Spurs was too good for both parties to turn down.
"In our situation as a Championship football club, we have to consider anything of this magnitude," Ridsdale told the BBC.
"Chris has indicated he wants to talk to them and we have given permission.
"I think with the price itself we would have had to consider it no matter what the situation was financially."
Cardiff are currently involved in a legal battle with creditors Langston - a situation that has threatened the club with administration and financial ruin and Ridsdale admitted that it was a contributing factor in agreeing to the sale.
"Clearly, given the challenge we've had with Langston, it's made the financial security of the club more acute that we do look at this sort of transfer. But, if Chris had said he wasn't interested in going, we wouldn't have sold him."
