Carter fit for All Blacks

Carter has not trained at full throttle all week after sustaining a calf strain which forced him to miss Saturday's 85-8 thrashing of Romania. The All Blacks medical team have been monitoring his fitness closely and the 25-year-old showed no ill-effects during the captain's run on Friday afternoon.
New Zealand coach Graham Henry said: "Dan is fit. He trained pretty well yesterday and he has trained again today and is fine. He is kicking beautifully."
However, substitute hooker Keven Mealamu is a doubt after incurring a hamstring injury, so Andrew Hore is on standby to plug the gap.
Henry said: "Keven is struggling with a tight hamstring. He hasn't torn it but he is going to be tested again tomorrow morning and we will see how he comes through. It's touch and go at the moment."
Meanwhile, Henry revealed the All Blacks are resigned to wearing their silver jerseys against France.
Les Bleus won the coin toss that determined what colour jerseys they use and as their home kit is dark blue, New Zealand were asked to wear their second strip.
A clash of colours led to the possibility of a reprieve but Henry has heard nothing from the International Rugby Board on the matter.
He said: "We are going to be wearing silver - silver and black, silver fern and the same technology as the other one.
"We have no concerns about that, although we haven't been told officially. There will be a contrast in colours and that's the main thing. We usually wear black and we have changed to silver to compensate. We are quite relaxed about that."
