Cech: Lampard will stay

Petr Cech is sure Frank Lampard will stay at Chelsea for at least another year.

The Blues goalkeeper wasted no time in committing his future to the club after the arrival of new boss Luiz Felipe Scolari as he signed a new five-year deal earlier this month.

Asked whether he will stay, Cech told Sky Sports News: "He has one year (left) on his contract - so that's for sure."

He added: "I hope they will find an agreement with the club and he will stay more than one year.

"He's really one of the key figures in our team over the last five years. So it's always important to keep players like that, especially when he can 20 goals a season from midfield."
