Celtic reveal interest in Huszti

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan confirmed the Parkhead club are set to make a bid for Hungarian midfielder Szabolcs Huszti.

The Hoops boss, who captured the signature of Derry City winger Niall McGinn this week, is gearing up for a busy January transfer window and the Hannover player is "on the radar."

He said: "I wanted to keep that one quiet. But you can't keep any secrets in the world we live in.

"We've watched the player a lot in the Bundesliga and official talks will begin when the window opens in January.

"He has been on the radar for a while but I won't know how the player feels about us until I meet him."
