Clark and Lee skittle India

27 January 2007
After cleaning up Australia's tail in the first three overs of the morning, Sachin Tendulkar's 48th Test half-century helped India briefly recover in response to Australia's 343 first innings total after losing openers Wasim Jaffer (four) and Rahul Dravid (five) before lunch.
But Clark's four for 28 off 15 overs, which included the dismissal of Tendulkar to break a 65-run fourth wicket partnership with Sourav Ganguly, and Lee's four for 46 off just under 20 overs handed Australia a substantial advantage at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Clark also took two wickets in three balls of the 48th over of the innings with the dismissals of Yuvraj Singh for an 11 ball duck and MS Dhoni (nought) two balls later.
Spinner Brad Hogg claimed the other two India wickets for 82 runs, which included the dismissal of Ganguley (43).
